I was born in Tampa fl. in and raised in a small town just east of Tampa called Dover Fl. I graduated for Plant City High School in 1978. I moved to Live Oak Fl. in 1988 and started in radio at 30 years old, I volunteered wasn’t paid to do it, it was just something I wanted to try.
I started out hosting a morning show back in the day when we had turntables (record players) two of them to be exact, I also so did play-by-play Football for the local High School in Branford Florida
Later I moved to commercial radio in Lake City playing Adult Contemporary music, Classic Rock and then country where I am now WQHL 98.1 in North Florida with Southern Stone hosting the ‘Outlaw Show’ on Saturday nights.
I have two sons the oldest of which works in Radio at a Christian Station in Daytona Beach Fl. My youngest son is in the real estate business in St. Augustine Fl.
I have 5 grandchildren three boys and two girls.
I’m an avid outdoors man, my hobbies are fishing, Boating, Traveling, I play golf as much as I can(Love that Sport).
